That's also why it didn't deserve any kind of press release. Pitino seemed pretty angry in the brief statement he made. Now I know why. Jones is an idiot....I feel awful for the two young women.

One of the main reasons I am a Duke fan. Can't stand debating with Louisville and Kentucky fans on the cleanliness of our programs. All they bring up is Lance Thomas and Corey Maggette.

Trust me , Pitino would not have cut him loose if not forced . Meanwhile the football program just welcomed the former big 12 freshman of the year . He was dismissed from TCU for severely beating his girlfriend . And of course there is the story that was swept under the rug last spring when a UL cheerleader was found dead in a football players apartment . That story came out 3 months later when the football player was arrested for drug trafficking .You guys are just starting to get a glimpse of their athletic programs .

I say let's wait and see. I remember the Duke LX situation also. Some people were judged wrongly before all the facts were set straight. An overly ambitious D.A. who ended up losing his job and rightfully so. Many of you remember the D.A was Mike Nifong one of UNC's finest law school graduates along with John Edwards. I bust on those two every chance I get. Nifong because of his selfish ambition and Edwards not for his politics but his unfaithfulness to his wife who was battling cancer. OFC

Normally I would agree with you guys here. However, this kid has been a problem since before he even step onto Louisville's court. I hope that it isn't true, but I think it is. And that is sad. What a waste of talent and of a life. I don't feel sorry for him one bit if all of this is indeed true. I do feel sorry for those girls. How can people do these kinds of things to one another?
