We should, he’s a great player and we need a PG badly. We need a couple as evidenced by the last two years.
I’ve never had a problem with promising really good players starting spots. He is like the number one pg in the class. One of at least. Of course they know they have to work hard.

Don’t care how good he is. I’d never promise a freshman that. Not every skill translates 1:1 from high school to college.
Well if he came here then stinks it up you obviously have to play the better option if there’s a better player. But if the number one point guard is a risk then everyone will be. Idk if he’s the number one pg but he’s close.

Ultimately I trust Pope. I’m not a Stokes guy, but if Pope signs the kid, I’ll stand with coach. As for Collin’s, he’s a project.

He should. Most of these guys end up being elite, and if they aren't you don't keep starting them.
I wouldn’t be as big on Stokes if I felt like Pope for sure got portal studs. Maybe Pope got all the guys he wanted from the portal but I feel like he missed almost every guy he went after.( difference makers)….
We have a chance to land the number one player in the country that happens to be from Kentucky. It’s just one of them situations I feel like Pope needs to land for so many reasons…
but like I said. If I felt like Pope could go land a couple top five transfers I wouldn’t care either way on Stokes. Hes a man child. He will play mean even with Popes girl dad attitude. UK needs a star one way or another. We are freaking UK
Don’t worry about the rankings so much. Go back and look at a lot of the UConn portal classes. Those rankings mean nothing. Demary would have been nice but the fact that it’s us vs UConn for so many guys is a real good sign. And we have won on some and lost on some.
