I've read 6 of those. Based on volume of work that I have read, my top 5 authors would probably be: Larry McMurtry, Hunter S. Thompson, Vonnegut, Ayn Rand and Tolkien. Hemingway would probably come after that, but his books don't really grab my attention like the others.
