The distant drum beats are not so distant anymore. I’m close friends with two guys who donate to the Univ. of Iowa. They are not in the NIL lane, but, contribute fairly substantial amounts every year. My one buddy said to me this morning: “I feel like you felt after the Iowa, Ohio State, and Indiana losses! I want to feel like you felt on the Sunday Franklin was fired.”
