My favorite Renardo Sidney memory was when he had Leia as a slave hostage after capturing Han in the carbonite.

Sidney the basketball player was always overrated to me. Goodman saying he was the best recruit he ever saw, regardless of age, shows how terribke goodman is at his job. Sidney was super overrated in my opinion he was just huge. He had some nice touch at 16, but played below the rim, and wasn't very athletic. Anyone thinking he was ever on the same level or better than cousins/wall weren't actually watching him. One look at a few clips from Sidney, Wall, And Cuz from those years in high school will show you he was nowhere near them.

He is probably the most overrated player in my lifetime for high school basketball.

It is always somewhat hard to relate to these talented kids who do crazy things. I think about Winston at FSU. Here is perhaps the most talented college player, who will end up in the pros, yet does some awful behavioral things when the world has been handed to him on a silver platter. Sidney if he had made effort to be in shape and grow could have been great. He is another wasted talent and some of the blame should be on the program and former coach. A lack of discipline led to that.

That is a rather horse and water argument. Ultimately, RS is responsible for his own life. Hopefully, he will learn that eventually. Nazr Mohammed learned that his freshman year. Jorts learned that his senior year. Coaches can motivate all they want but in the end, the young man has to seize the reins and take ownership.

Waste of talent. And whoever said he wasn't athletic is wrong. He always was a better leaper than cousins who was moderately better than dakari. Even as obese as he was he could still get up which always shocked me. With the coaching of a guy like cal he could have become a monster who had amazing talent. He should have never crossed 260 pounds. I remember watching him when I was in high school and remember seeing the weight gain and still being blown away by his moves
