We really don’t want to win the SEC regular season and/or the SEC Tournament nor get to the Final Four this year because we could not fire CM!!!

Let's do this song and dance again. I'm a massive Kentucky basketball fan but now that we've won the last 2 games we really badly need to lose all the rest of them or else something bad will happen. Did I mention I'm the dumbest boy alive?
OP must be super duper sad about the last two games. Huge fans get sad when their team wins, right? Just trying to follow the logic.

Recruiting is starting to worry me greatly. I have no doubt the man can coach Xs and Os.
Can he do so consistently? Can he motivate? Lots of ball left and still lots to prove in my book.
But a conf win is ALWAYS a good thing.

With football I knew 100% an implosion was needed. With basketball I think it’s probably needed but im only at 80-90% sure.
These two wins this week doesn’t just erase all the bad that’s happened both on the floor and with recruiting. Stoops got 2 fluke wins as well.
I’d be MUCH more willingly to forgive this year if recruiting wasn’t at an alltime low and next year didn’t look worse than this one. But it’s hard to see anyway this works out for Pope with recruiting like it is.

I'm starting to lose hope. Pope and this team can't even get imploding right.
I think Pope has issues teaching Defense and maybe even rebounding. But I am not sure how fair it is for him considering the injuries we have dealth with. Imagine if we had a healthy Robinson, Butler, Carr all year last year. And a Healthy JQ, Lowe, Williams this year from at least DEC on.
That said, I would love for him to give his defensive coaching and rebounding to another coach. I think he is good enough on offense and motivation for the rest.

Not sure how accurate ESPN is, but they showed us as #2 scoring defense in SEC.
And that is not counting today's low scoring game.
