Not the easiest place to identify cuts to make when the bulk of your payroll is in just a few key positions in a 200 person department (if I read that correctly).

All you can do is slash salaries.

A relatively small small division, but with a large payroll and enormous facilities.

Well they could start canning people if it gets desperate. Big time corporation are always looking for ways to merge jobs to cut people. A major college would be no different especially those with large number of employees in athletic department.
