Washing your hands 20 times a day and wearing a mask constantly will do more to hurt yourself than you are doing protecting others.

There is part of me that wonders: would it kill you to wear a mask for an extra month or two? To follow the rules and walk down every other grocery isle, that's clearly marked? Just to REAAAALLY be sure we squash this as best we can? I get it, gov't control, I'm right there with a lot of you.

But Jesus, just put the damn mask on for a bit and we can all be done sooner. I mean, Government can't make you do something you choose to do in the first place. That's how I see it.

As a high risk person, I’m wearing a mask the few times I’m out. I’ve heard and read all the arguments for and against and it’s just a decision I’ve decided to follow. To each their own.

We are going to have a “bubble” of friends to associate with for a while, and my immediate family.

Cautiously optimistic about our vacation in October, but we’ll see. No ball games or concerts this year.

But that’s just me.

Not to go all “your great-aunt on Facebook” on everyone, but there was a good point made in one of the dumb pics that pop up every 5 seconds on there.

If a guy decides to pee on you and is wearing no pants, and you’re wearing no pants, you’re going to get wet.

if he has pants on and you don’t, he’s getting wet and you still might get a little wet.

if you both have pants on, your likelihood of getting wet is considerably less.

I have some masks. I wear it into Wal*Mart, but not into the local Kroger. Hypocritical? Sure. But if you’ve ever been in the North Lexington Walmart, you’ll know why. I have to wear one to go into my work building to do anything, because the boss said so. Once I’m in my room, I take it off. Fairly simple.

It doesn’t hurt anyone to take a little precaution. I like some of you that hate the mask idea, and I see where you’re coming from in some cases because reasonable people can see both sides. We all want stuff to open, so might as well do a little something to help out.

There’s zero percent I could stand wearing a mask to the beach (hopefully in July) or to the September football games. I’m already sweating too much.

I agree. It's not that big of a deal, and I see it as a courtesy to my fellow citizens.

However, there needs to be some nuance to the requirements for employees IMO. I get that a server bringing food to tables should wear a mask or anywhere when coming in close contact with the general public, but my 65 year old FIL will probably get a heat stroke wearing a mask for 10 hrs/d in June on a forklift in an auto-parts factory without A/C.

65 year old working 10 hours a day in hard conditions should be enough of a sign that our systems need to be overhauled in my book.

I'll wear a full level A hazmat suit if it means getting things going again.

Second most popular governor in the land.
---
Then "the land" is in deep s***. He's a dimwitted dullard that has people like you down on your knees praising him. Checked on those Tennessee death rates lately? Of course not. Here, let me help Kentucky mortality rate 4.9%, Tennessee 1.5%.

Maybe talk to someone outside the normal trump flakes and you will see what they think of a real leader.

You kiss your mother with that mouth. Sad

Go sit in front of your black & white TV & wait for Lil' Dandy Andy's daily appearance. Then you'll know what to think, do & say for at least 24 hours. Just pray nobody brings up that 4.9% death rate.

I suspect you don't. I'd rather stare at a blank wall for an hour or floss the cat before I'd give one second to that arbitrary tyrant. But you be sure to follow his orders & by all means, put on your Lil' Dandy Andy approved mask May 11th.

Sure thing. But I already wear a mask. I’m ahead of the game.

For you people who have been locked in your houses and only "brave" the world to pickup groceries, absolutely nothing has changed other than being totally inconvenienced at every turn. Work has not changed, and the reality is this is about like the flu for the overwhelming majority of the population. As testing capabilities continue to improve numbers will keep introducing new cases, because of course they will. The sky isnt falling, this has been absolutely insanity, and its time for this ******** to end. For the people with existing conditions, Im sorry. You need to do what you need to do to protect yourself. But at this point it is wrecking our country and the small minority of people that applies to no longer outweighs the overwhelming majority this crap is adversely affecting econmically. Reopen.

I hope everybody who has ever said "the new normal" gets a Coronavirus and AIDS.
I liked your post, but I don't really wish that on anyone. I'd be content if the person is required to shave one's head and wear a T shirt with "New Normal" on it. Oh, and, the same goes for anyone who says "we're all in this together", particularly if someone is a Hollywood celebrity.
