We haven't been to Destin in many years. We have mostly been to Hilton Head, and Orange Beach areas over the past few years. The wife and kids want to go to Destin this year and I need recommendations on nice condos (2-3 BR), on the beach. Any recommendations?<div>

to put "OT" at the front of your topic. You should probably prepare to be beaten with a leather strap.

We try to go once a year and we always stay there. It's a bit pricey and more space than we need but it's quietbut it's worth it. I can't stand staying in the main section of destin with all the crowds.

Luckily my friend owns a condo down there. But the Hilton is San Destin is nice, right on the beach, and reasonably priced.

But I second fishwater's food recommendations (or at least Stinky's & Red Bar, haven't tried Ocean Club). Grouper at Red Bar was best thing I had.

Coral Reef Club is where we've stayed the last three years. Most units are 1 BR with bunk beds in the hallway. They have a few units that have a loft as a second bedroom, they say it sleeps 8-10 comfortably. The regular units sleep 4 comfortably, 6 if you don't mind a pull out couch in the living room.

At least as far as eats. Ocean Club is very good, Red Bar in Grayton Beach is FANTASTIC, and Louisiana Lagniappe is a must.

Also Donut Hole can't be beat.

You're going to pay a little bit more, but the Grayton Beach area all the way down to watercolor, seaside, watersound, etc. is spectacular and the beaches are all yours. If you look hard enough you can get a deal. Worked a full summer at Fish Out of Water and the WaterSound beach club, I'll never go back to Destin. Nothing against it, but once you go to 30A your perspective will change.

Good? Bad? Not sure looking for input. How far is the beer store? Don't want to have to drive 20 minutes to PCB or Destin. Input welcome.<div>

It's was fantastic. Rented a house abt 100 yards from beach. Got it on vrbo. Publix grocery store is a mile drive from seagrove/seaside.

Nice place. Good pool, good gym workout facility.
Across the road from the beach, which wasn't very crowded.

I still prefer Gulf Shores/Orange Beach.
Was NOT impressed with the Destin seafood places, but didn't have enough time to visit them all.
