This basketball season 66 ranked teams have lost to an unranked opponent, and 23 unranked teams have beaten a top-10 opponent. And SEVEN teams have been ranked #1 sometime during this season.

If the Top 25 teams' players are paying attention then they know that there is no such thing as a sure thing in college basketball! You have to bring your A-game or else you get an F in the score.

A weaker than usual freshmen class, that is following a freshmen class that went pro, multiple ineligible players, and some screwed up bias based to begin rankings. You get unranked teams beating over ranked teams, more parity, amd a few more actual title contenders. Its not "wide open anybody can win" but theres more than a few like usual
