At 90 years old Dick Groat is retiring is retiring from sports.

I know all of you Duke fans know who Dick Groat is. He is our 1st NCAA player of the year and until Mike Gminski's number was retired Groats #10 was the only jersey hanging from the rafters. He was a two sport star at Duke and later played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and was a NL MVP. He settled in the Pittsburgh area and was the broadcaster for The University of Pittsburgh for many years. A true Duke treasure that many have forgotten. OFC
