Losing at the shoe is one thing but losing to Wake Forest defines Pitt. I think the team will bounce back as far as the poor offensive allows them. 10-2 may not happen without offensive change. 18 running plays between our 2 good backs, come on man.

Sorry, I find no solace in another teams demise. If you really find enjoyment in doing that kind of thing, you should have checked out the SMU/Temple game at Lincoln Field. Temple lost to SMU 55-0 in front of 11,232. Now that is really sad. Philly fans don't support all there local teams.

I've had a couple good laughs about it. I stopped watching it when Pitt had the ball with 1 minute left up by 3 or 4. Later when looking at scores I see they lost and the way they lost. Too funny.
Well at least they're better than Temple.

What a way to lose. Terrible call! How unfair! Such an improbable chain of events. So unlucky. So heartbreaking.

Well, Pitt losing doesn't really do a whole lot to asuage yet another loss to a ranked team.

Pitt's colors are blue and gold. They wore white uniforms yesterday that mimicked our white uniforms. First they take our third string QB and now they are copying our uniforms. What's next? Maybe they change their mascot from the panther to the lion??

I don’t take solace in the demise of anything. OTOH, I do take pleasure in seeing Pitt lose. It’s not the same thing.

Who may be better than our first string QB. Who knows at this point.

Where did pitt get screwed? Villeaux slide? It was correct call. Ball is spotted where he begins the motion of sliding. It is not where he to he's the ground. He started to go down a yard too soon.

Ironically if he ran out of bounds rather than slide the game was essentially over. There was only 40 seconds left and Wake had only two time outs left. Three kneel downs and a handshake. So his decision to slide was a mistake in and of itself

Yeah, that was a really bad decision to slide there. No real need to slide at all but easily could have gone well past the line to gain and then slid if he felt he needed to. He had the first down marker right in front of him.
