If atheists don't believe God exists, why do they keep talking about him so much and trying so hard to convince other people that he don't exist?

Maybe they really know that he exists and they are afraid of him because of how they live their lives.

Hard to do much fun stuff that might get you in trouble when you don’t make **** and live in your parents’ basement.

I don’t care what anyone believes, except I reserve the right to make fun of stupid **** like arguing Bible verses as if they mean anything. Doesn’t mean I’m telling you what to think…I’m telling you what I think as my 1st Amendment Right. ‘Merica!

I have found out much of atheism is confounded in narcissistism. The athiest does not want to believe he is created by a Creator and feels that rejecting all claims or "evidence" of God grants him a pass to live his life how he sees fit. No amount of evidence will convince him. Unfortunately, reality is against him and pretending God doesn't exsist is a fools paradise. His final piece of absolute undeniable evidence will be when he recieves his reward for rejecting God in this short trial we call life. On that day there will be no excuse.

What I believe are people that are really, really religious either: a) need a crutch because they are weak, b) are reformed sluts that found Jesus after banging like a hundred dudes, or c) are closeted gays.

Atheists are gods unto themselves. They reverence their infinitesimal amount of knowledge about the universe and the unseen realm.

It’s almost like recently dead atheists like Larry King and Stephen Hawking ultimately regret their beliefs on Earth. When you are dedicated to not believing and living a prideful life you are almost certain for the fate of Hell and Fire.

I'm not getting into the atheist vs. religious argument (at least I'm planning not to) but if good people can be denied a pleasant afterlife because they didn't worship the proper way or "commit" to a certain religious organization, then religion is nothing more than a cult whose followers have been manipulated by its leaders.

Be a decent person and good things will happen is the only way to go through life. With or without religious involvement.

that basically describes today’s youth. excluding myself, the late 90s babies and 00s generation are the wagon-riders that go along instead of making their own path. they would rather be associated with what’s popularly right instead of the unpopular opinion. BLM, Pride Month, Feminism, drugs and sex…these kids only want to be the most popular person in TikTok and Instagram. It’s no wonder. A Pastor from Mingo County said it best, “we all want our kids to go off and get a good education. But you know what we [parents] need to do? We should lead them to Lord first.” It’s lacking in today’s world. scary. I had this conversation with young girl friend of mine last night. She’s supposedly a dedicated atheist but in reality she’s more than likely just lazy and goes with what’s popular amongst her peers. It’s the secular society.

so what do you mean by a decent person? A decent person doesn’t commit to abomination and secular beliefs to fulfill his desire to be exempt from fate. Do I think dedicated atheists can escape Hell? Yes. It’s called repentance. Much like any Christian. I’m no different. People have seen my posts on the blue lot. I’m assuredly going to answer for a what I have done on Earth. It through repenting and giving your heart to the Lord you will be rewarded.

committing to hate is a one-way ticket to eternal damnation.

Here’s the biblical teaching on the subject. God is a King. All created things, both visible and invisible are his Kingdom. God desired to share his authority both in the invisible, heavenly realm and the visible, physical realm. He created humans in his image meaning He gave us authority and free will to rule. Satan attempted to usurp authority in both the heavenly and earthly realms, setting up a rival kingdom to God’s Kingdom. Satan tempted Adam and Eve by suggesting God lies and wants to keep them from what is best. The first humans believed Satan instead of God and obeyed Satan rather than God. Their disobedience introduced sin into the world, and the penalty for sin is death. All humans are sinners because all humans were in Adam when he sinned. God judged Satan and his fallen angelic followers and prepared a Lake of Fire for them. He’s appointed a day when He will condemn them all to this Lake of Fire.

For humans, God sent his Son to become human and die for the sins of all people. How can one man pay for the sins of all people? All became sinners because all were in Adam. But the Son created Adam. Therefore all humans were in the Son before they were all in Adam. So as by one man’s sin all became sinners, by the one man’s sacrifice the price for all sins is paid. So why do people still go to Hell? They choose it. People still have free will. If people surrender to the rule and Kingdom of the one, true and living God then they will enter the peace and rest promised to come on the day of judgment. If by their own choice the reject God’s Kingdom and continue to follow after the devil they went enter the judgment intended for Satan and his angels.

Yet to all who did receive him (Jesus), to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.—John 1:12

Huh? Have you seen a lot of people die?
Yes, he’s a serial killer.
Unfortunately to many. Even in the casket, the mortician can't get the look of fear from a atheist face .
3 friends ( 1 suicide 2 overdose) who was atheist & all looked scared.
Reminds me of the account of Adoniram Judson…

Judson was raised in a Christian home, but when he went off to college at Brown University, he was lured away from the Christian faith by a fellow student and close friend, a young man named Jacob Eames. Eames was a philosopher who rejected all revealed religion, including the Bible. Eames ridiculed the God of the Bible, and under Eames’ assaults, Judson’s already fragile faith crumbled.

He kept his loss of faith hidden from his parents until after his graduation, when on his 20th birthday—August 9, 1808—he announced that he was no longer a Christian. He had been valedictorian of Brown University, and left for New York, hoping to write for the theater there.

While in New York, Judson found little fulfillment as a playwright, and grew quickly disillusioned. But God was beginning to work in his heart. One night, while traveling through a small village, he spent the night at a local inn. The only available room was next door to a man who was dying. All night the man groaned and cried out in desperation. Judson was so tormented by the despair in the man’s cries that he could not sleep.

Judson began to wonder, “Is this man prepared for death? That’s really all that matters now. Am I?” His philosophy taught him that death was nothing—a door into an empty pit—but that brought him little comfort now, listening to a man that was actually dying. At the same time, he could hear in the back of his mind the voice of his friend Jacob Eames, mocking him: “Really, Judson? You’re this weak? Are you really the valedictorian of Brown University? Spooked by a little superstitious religion?”

Judson lay there, toggling between fear and shame for that fear.

But still, those groans. . .

The voice eventually stopped. The next morning, as sunlight filled Judson’s room, the sense of despair lifted and Judson felt ashamed for having given in to such weakness the night before. He got dressed, went downstairs, and asked at the front desk about the man in the adjoining room. “He is dead,” was the simple reply.

Judson politely asked, “Do you know who he was?” “Oh yes. Young man from the college in Providence. Name was Eames, Jacob Eames.”

Judson could hardly move. He didn’t leave the inn for hours. He later reflected on that moment:

“Lost. In death, Jacob Eames was lost—utterly, irrevocably lost. Lost to his friends, to the world, to the future. Lost as a puff of smoke is lost in the infinity of air. If Eames’ own views were true, neither his life nor his death had any meaning. . . . But suppose Eames had been mistaken? Suppose the Scriptures were literally true and a personal God real? . . . For that hell should open in that country inn and snatch Jacob Eames, [my] dearest friend and guide, from the next bed—this could not, simply could not, be coincidence.”[1]

Judson would come shortly thereafter not only to believe the gospel, but also to pour the rest of his life out for it, suffering extraordinary things in the name of it. The gospel of Jesus was not a light thing for him; it was weighty in life and weighty in death. It demanded the utmost attention and the most fervent devotion. And it demands the same today.

Never heard the story before, thank you.
If a person don't believe in God, what good is life ?
I really enjoy knowing I come from a king almighty. Just thinking I was a accident in the Cosmo or from a monkey ( would be a spider monkey for me)I would live in depression. Nothing to look forward to .

That's cool. Everyone should be able to do whatever they need to do to sleep at night. As I've said here already, you have your right to believe and I have my right not to.

My businesses help people, my wife and kids love me, I have a good support system of friends...I'm good. I don't need to go to church to be a good person. My wife and I take our kids to church and they'll all get confirmed, because we were raised Catholic and we want to raise them the same way and let them make up their own mind. If they want to be religious so be it.

But if they start coming to me once they're older and start talking to me about bible verses as if its fact, I'll tell them exactly what I think.

So every human alive prior to the advent of Christianity was condemned to hell with no chance of salvation since they had no idea about the kingdom.

that doesn’t sound like a god I want anything to do with. Sounds like St. Peter is running a kangaroo court that would make Adam a Schiff jealous.

Where did "hate" come from?

And if you need someone to define "decent person", you will never know what that is.
Who gets to define what a decent or good person is? Does every individual define that for themselves? Is it the government? Is it the society?
Or is it based on morality derived from the bible? The 10 commandments? The words of Jesus?
A woke US citizen in 2022 and like-thinking people think they are good and decent because they ride their bikes to work, don't smoke cigarettes, believe in unfettered abortion, no borders and self-identifying pronouns while they destroy property, loot businesses and vote Democrat.

That and more people have been killed fighting for God than anything else. And those that believe in religion, but not their religion, are damned to hell. Lot of people are damned to hell, except if you believe in the right god. More than a little self serving.

Lot of priests, preachers and reverands are real pedos...not like a Biden/democratic pizzagate pedo. Are they damned to hell? If so, how about everyone they taught and preached to? Are they damned to hell too? I mean if you have someone going to hell teaching you how to be religious it seems like they're probably doing it wrong.

No. God is merciful.

“Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by human design and skill. In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”—Acts 16:29-31

Religion gather people. A mass of people has great power. Power attracts predictors. As Jesus said, there are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Jesus said their doom is sure.

As what kills most people, the most murderous genocides in history took place in the 20th century: Mao’s China, Stalin’s Russia, Pol Pot’s Cambodia—three atheistic regimes. Hitler’s Germany is fourth. His was an expressly occultic regime.

What about people today who have never been and never will be exposed to Christianity? Like the Sentinelese or those who live in the middle of nowhere? Did God put them on Earth just to doom them? When was Acts 16:29-31 written/prescribed/transcribed/whatever you want to call it? It would be highly likely there were millions alive during and after it was first put to record that have never had any chance of being exposed to this new religion called Christianity. Thus, God put them on Earth just to forsake them.

If God is truly merciful, it shouldn't matter what I believe or who or how I worship as long as live my life consistent with how God would expect us to live. In other words, if a person does everything right by God except kiss his *** in church, a pleasant afterlife should be a certainty. If having to join the group is a pre-requisite for that hope, it is a cult.

God is merciful, but also just. Those who do not respond to his mercy receive justice. Those who have never heard but who live as those under God’s law receive merciful. Those who reject the light they have been given receive justice.

God is merciful, but also just. Those who do not respond to his mercy receive justice. Those who have never heard but who live as those under God’s law receive merciful. Those who reject the light they have been given receive justice.
Convenient reasoning. By justice I assume you mean eternal damnation to hell. Totally merciful.

You get the destiny you chose.

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.—Deuteronomy 30:19

Be a decent person and good things will happen is the only way to go through life. With or without religious involvement.
This is absolutely true. If people find religion works for them than good. If people cannot be decent to others no amount of religion will make them less of a POS.

Religion is between man and his higher power. Being a good person is between man and others.

is simple willful blindness

If atheists don't believe God exists, why do they keep talking about him so much and trying so hard to convince other people that he don't exist?

Maybe they really know that he exists and they are afraid of him because of how they live their lives.
I’ve always wondered why their favorite cuss words are GD and JC. They literally scream his name when they’re mad. Proves to me he’s real!!!
