Keep in mind, Nixon was impeached. He never even had a Senate trial, because he resigned prior to one taking place.

Inaccurate. Judiciary sent the vote to the floor, but the House didn't vote on it. Didn't vote on it, certainly couldn't impeach him by sending it to the Senate.

Don't have to send to the Senate to impeach. "House has sole power to impeach." I know you guys have trouble with the Constitution.

Regardless, the Senate has power to acquit, which means you're all giddy for nothing. [thumbsup]

Democrats will lose on this impeachment vote (Trump stays in Office)

Question: could they win on their own?

By that I mean since not even impeachment will defeat Trump what else can they do to win?

Look what hasn't worked
  • Fusion GPS
  • Rigging the Dem primaries
  • Access Hollywood
  • Collusion fake Dossier
  • FISA spying
  • Crossfire Hurricane
  • Mueller
  • Stormy
  • Kids in cages
  • Trade war
  • Tax evasion
  • Mid term elections
  • Wall funding failures
  • No collusion
  • Ukraine
  • Bribery
  • Extortion
  • Quid Pro Quo
  • No bribery
  • No extortion
  • No quid pro quo
  • Impeachment
Nothing worked. Trump's more popular than ever. Ahead of all Democrats in all polls. Sellout crowds at his rallies. Record fund raising.

What else can Democrats do to defeat him?

(hint...they've tried all they know, they have nothing left)

If you have two terms and nothing to show for it but a legacy of illegal political investigations, did you win?

Nancy asked God to "Bless" America. Anyone on the Left care to explain who or what she is talking about, and if you agree with her?

Should God Bless America?

Who is that if you're on the atheistic Left?

How would that happen anyway?

Do you want that too, or do you disagree with Madame speaker at least on this particular issue? [eyeroll]

No no atl, we didn't just ask God to Bless America, but Bless Socialism too!

...and our right to kill Babies we don't want whenever we want.

So Nancy you tellin' me God Blesses abortion?

I asked him to Bless America atl, and abortion is part of America whether YOU like it or not!

Um, no Nancy.....

If any Democrat tonight joins Republicans in a bi-partisan vote against impeachment, how many of you Leftists will still vote for that Democrat?

Remember Nancy said the vote must be "bi partisan"? You do realize there may be more "bi-partisan" votes against impeachment than partisan votes for it?

Do you agree with Nancy on this, or is she wrong that the vote must NOT be "partisan"? What will your vote be for a Democrat who votes against impeachment?

Any brave Leftist want to tackle that one? Was Nancy right? Anyone have an honest answer?

Probably not.

Proving Nancy's FOS and most of you all are too! [eyeroll]

He was charged in a partisan vote...He'll be acquitted in a bipartisan vote.

You actually lose.

Not sorry.

Acquited in a bi-partisan vote? So you think there will be one Democrat in the Senate to vote against removal from office? Does one make it bipartisan? Thanks in advance for your answers.

Before Trump you "HAD" to sign up for Health care (even those lousy ACA exchanges)

Since Trump, all that's been repealed. Yaaaaay!!!!!

Interestingly, Pelosi is withholding something obligated to another body until she gets something she wants for personal advantage. This could not be more delicious.

The argument of whether Trump is officially impeached or not is to play out in the courts in the coming days, I almost guarantee. Ironically, the Democrats will be arguing he is not impeached. Mitch will be arguing that he is.

so if he's not officially impeached - how does that impact the bet? What was the time frame on that bet - Christmas or the end of the year?

If an impeachmebt is a "charge" or an "indictment" I wonder where the POTUS rights to face his accusations and a speedy trial exist. I havent really heard any legal minds diacuss it.
