I don't know why I haven't noticed this yet, but they have 7 players that play 20 mins or more, and the only one taller than 6'7" is Granger who is not playing tomorrow. We TOWER over them. Last game we doubled them up in rebounds. 44-22.
they're going to be wobbling a bit tomorrow after this hard fought win today. LSU......sigh, wow, way too much talent and size to lose this many games to bad teams.
The bigger problem tomorrow is that Granger is one Auburn's better big guys along with Bowers. This will put more pressure on Bowers and he had 4 fouls today vs. LSU. Both big men were trying so hard vs. Martin and Mickey and Auburn did hold their own but it seemed like Auburn was always fouling today. I couldn't believe that LSU had 44 FT attemps and only made 25 for 56%. They deserved to lose missing almost 20 ft attempts. With Granger out that will hurt Auburn tomorrow he only had 22 min of play but did go 4-6 and 2-3 from 3 for 10pts today. If you remember at RUPP vs. Auburn that is the game they went 11 out of 19 from 3 point and MASON had 29 points against us. That game at RUPP and you first look at stats and see that Auburn hits 11/19 from 3 point and then look at the score and see UK still beat them by 35. Its probably going to be Ark vs UK on Sunday.
The only reason this game stays within 25 will be if Auburn hits at least 10 threes. Remember Mason went off at Rupp. He hasn't come close to that since. He won't likely do it tomorrow.
