We are certainly down from last year, but finding a way to win that game would have us still on pace to have a decent season.

it only looks like the difference between possibly going 6-6 or 7-5. We just aren't that good. The Memphis game was just very deceiving because they are so bad. Still think Auburn will end up being the 3rd worst SEC team we play this year behind UK and OM.

creates an entirely different attitude too. Had we beat Auburn and lost two fairly close game to LSU & @UGa, I'd think 8-4 was still a possibility. And 7-5 to me is a lot better than 6-6. At this point 6-6 is our best record possible and we could very likely fall completely apart. If we are 6-6 and end with a 3rd straight win over OM, we get a bowl game too. I'd be ok with that at this point.

I have been thinking the same thing. Our players look defeated and we don't have the swagger of last year. Win the auburn game and we have much more confidence going into lsu. Still would lost but would be a different team.

3-2 instead of 2-3 right now, that's about it. That sounds like a smart### remarke but it's really not.

If you cannot see the difference in losing to a mediocre Auburn team and the number one team in the nation, you are a fool.

We lost to Auburn, LSU, Georgia, and went to OT withLouisianaTech because we suck. We came out of the gate fired up, gave Super Bowl effort, played the best we can and lost. What if we beat Auburn? We didn't......and that's the point. We're 0-3 in the SEC, 2-3 overall and needed OT to defeat LA Tech. That is who we are. Don't give me that woulda, shoulda, coulda BS. We look stupid going there.<div>
