Its been Keith Hornsby vs. Auburn. He has scored 12 and seems to be the only one really playing for LSU right now.

yeah it's like lsu is looking ahead. auburn can't get out of their own way, and lsu can't capitalize.

If Auburn was hitting their layups they could be leading by 10 points right now. I have counted at least 12 or 13 missed layups by Auburn today. LSU with only 21 points with 3 min in the half vs. Auburn and where has Mickey and Martin been today. I don't think Mickey has even scored today.

Hornsby with 17, guess he has great "Range". That's just the way it is, some things will never change.

lsu went 9-18 from he line. 18 free throw attempts and they score 11 in the half without hornsby.

Martin was 4 out of 10 from the FT line. If it wasn't for Hornsby's 17 and the 12 or 13 missed layups by Auburn then Auburn could be up right now. Auburn usually stays in the game with their Guard play of Harrell, Mason, Land, and Ross-Miller. They only have a combined 8 points today. Still a close game 28-24.

lsu is on pace to shoot near 40 free throws. there should be no way they lose this game. especially since bowers just collected two quick ones, they have nothing else on the inside. auburn is smartly taking the shot clock down each possession.

Coach Jones has no clue.........didn't even get a shot off.

They deserve to lose.

So in the last 30 minutes each of these teams has managed to score about ten points.

How on Earth can anyone watch LSU play and want to play for that coach. I realize the guard made a dumb play, but even the coach didn't know about the shot clock. He acted like he did once it went off, but his guard had the ball only a few feet from him with the clock down to 2 seconds and he wasn't yelling or saying anything. He was acting as if he thought they had more time too. Wow.

Agreed. That was bad. But, they might just win it anyway.

Oh yea! It absolutely must be March!

Whatever happens that 4-14 in the SEC Auburn team has played their hearts out this last 3 days. There's a lot Pearl can take from this, and use as a springboard to a better season and team next year. He's on his way back, and he's bringing Auburn with him. I for one like the guy, and look forward to seeing it.

lsu still has options with martin, hornsby and patterson, but since auburn has no size they keep trying to go into martin. it's very interesting set up, auburn with momentum.

Why did Patterson catch that long pass ? Just seal off the Auburn player and let it go out of bounds.

Auburn is so excited to make it to that *** whoopin' tomorrow. It's cute.
LSU is the only team Auburn could have beat in the round. I hope all of those blue chips enjoy being embarrassed next season.

I hope Cal's pre-game tomorrow is just "Run. Don't stop. Bury them."
