Pope did say after the game that they probably brought Robinson back a week too soon. So, I'm expecting they will sit him for this game. Hope he's good to go but just basing it on what Pope said last night. Post season is more important than this one game.
I agree. I fully expect no Jax. I’m saying I trust pope with these decisions. I’m not sure as a fan that I have the medical information to know better than Pope

My daughter jammed her wrist playing golf at the end of the regular season and it affected her the rest of the year until she got to rest it. She may be tougher than Robinson though because she played an entire season with what turned out to be a strained MCL and inflamed Plica membrane. She refused to go to the doctor because she was afraid they would make her have surgery and she couldn't play. She said the pain wasn't bad enough to miss the season. 🤣
I raised 3 girls and boy and girls are just tougher PERIOD!

I think we will be an 8-9 point underdog. But, I still think we can pull it off especially at home.
The game is in Rupp. @ Alabama without BOTH players the spread was on 8 early. IF both play, I would say a 4/5 point line, If only Butler plays, 6. Also, butler needs to play and work the rust off. Live game action is the only way to do it.

Do you just sit Butler and Jackson no matter what? I don't think that game is winnable. They slaughtered ole miss by 30 pts.
I don't understand. If Florida can beat them on their home floor then we can be competitive in this game. You make it out like they are UK 2012 and we are EKU.

Have a feeling this might just be the game of the year for the regular season coming up. Win or lose, it's going to be one hellofa good game.

Not to mention this team seems to play their best when the stakes are highest and moral the lowest. Can't count them out against ANY team. They will be at home, crowd rocking, just a big game atmosphere, they will be ready. Got up 10 on Bama at Bama. They CAN beat Auburn in Rupp, especially with Butler back.

If it is unwinnable then just tell Pearl to keep his guys on the Plains and we will forfeit the game. Do not play it at all.

I guess when Shaq came to Rupp and we had a 6'7" center we should have just gave up on that game as well. Oh wait we won that game. Play your players, if they are available, try to win every game.

I have that feeling that the Cats will beat Auburn on Saturday! Plus, Saturday is my Birthday, so I'm hoping they give me a win as a nice present! ;)

OP is likely a troll. If he’s truly a UK fan, then he has horrendous opinions. Terrible poster on the football board too.

Broome is just as dangerous as a passer as a scorer imo. I think we have to stay connected the other 4 at all times.

Rupp will be rocking on Saturday. Wouldn't surprise me if UK somehow pulls out the W.

Before this forum even existed, while UK was on probation in Pitino's 1st or 2nd year and "The Unforgettables" were still just a bunch of untalented scrubs, a similarly dominant LSU team led by Shaq came into Rupp Arena and most UK fans were afraid the Wildcats were in for a home court beatdown. LSU did not win that game.

Remember when Tiger won the US Open on a broken leg? That was awesome.

Auburn has just 1 loss in a stacked SEC.

They are due.
Maybe the SEC is not so stacked?

Regardless, we need to play whomever is healthy enough to play and we need to win the game. There is no reason we can't. If we have any player that's afraid of Auburn then sit that player.

Auburn has been letting a lot of teams hang around this year. If they let us hang around we could steal the game with some late key 3's

I'm assuming JRob isn't playing in this one, but we should have Butler and Carr. I think we have a good shot here.

Oklahoma is near the bottom of the SEC and is 3-0 against teams from the ACC, Big 10 and Big 12 that are not only ranked but sitting in the top 2 in their conferences.
