Very competitive game.AC is making defensive stops but started slow on offense. Newman was up 14-0 before AC offense beginning to click. Should be an interesting 2nd half. No turnovers. Only a couple penalties. Quality game.

Newman likely rematch with Orion round 3, then GCMS in the semis. Not slam dunks, but Newman will be favored throughout. Maroa or TriValley likely waiting in the final.
Rockridge only lost by a point to Newman this year but they were decimated by injuries and lost in the first round.

Keys to the game were red zone possessions. Newman got the job done. AC did not finish drives, was forced to kick 3 field goals and missed 2 of them. If they get 2 of those red zone possessions in the end zone AC wins the game.

Newman could have won even bigger, however. They dropped two wide open passes in the end zone. Kudos to the Newman offensive line. Outstanding job.
