Of course Nike/someone funneled money to some of our top guys and their families. We already know this is the way recruiting has worked the last 10-15 years. It's cheating according to the rules, but at least half of the top 25 programs have been turning the other way on it for a long time. Lance Armstrong doped, but so did 80% of his competitors. He's still the greatest cyclist of all time.
I'm all for cleaning up the sport, but I'm not going to let any of this rain on my love for Duke basketball and their on-court accomplishments. UNC should still be proud of their dirty title because it happened, but at the same time we can talk about the sneaky behind the scenes stuff in a negative way.

Avenatti is very smart. He throws the name of the most polarizing school out there, with not a shred of evidence or even details, and everyone is talking about it. Including us. I think we have more important things to worry about right now.

If Nike has been paying players to go to Nike schools you might as well look up every power 5 Nike school and its going on at all of them. Don't know what that has to do with the school though, that's a Nike issue.
It says something about this mans credibility when even Rupp Rafters biggest poster who have been dying for a Duke implication is saying this guy is full of it. Typical tail of I am sinking and will throw anything out there in hopes of one last bit if shine before he fades away.
You see, a lot of fans would be triggered over that tweet. Glad to see that a lot of us can have a sense of humor even with a jab thrown at Duke.
This is kind of funny actually. The little UK trolls are themselves being trolled by a monster professional troll. LOL, Avenatti knew Duke haters were glued to his social media. His purpose is hard to discern but I think that at this point, he would count getting some of those charges dropped as a win.
