Saw where Avery wore his 9/11 themed cleats even though the NFL told him not to. Proud of the man, I think everyone can agree and support Avery on this one. Police unions of New York and New Jersey are paying his fines.

I understand that there is NFL rules, but if you are trying to respect and commemorate a national tragedy that is 9/11 on the day of with American flag shoes, you shouldn't be threatened with or receive a penalty or fine. That is just ridiculous to me.

Respect to and very proud of Avery.

Williams took a stand when others were sitting. He is auctioning off the cleats along with VIP tickets for charity.

But they fine everyone for uniform violations. What other days should you be exempt from the uniform code?
