I like Springsteen, sorry, I know that offends many on this site (not that I particularly give a damn) . . . but if I hear Bruce and the E Streeters version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" one more time on the radio I think I will tear the knobs off the dashboard.

Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" is a very close second, for the record.

Now, have at it . . .

Madonna’s version of Santa Baby is ear-bleedingly terrible. Other than that, I’m good with about every song.

Also, most songs mentioned, including mine, are not carols.

What is considered a Christmas carol?

If we take the dictionary definition, Christmas carols are “traditional songs that are sung just before Christmas that celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

So even the 12 Days of Christmas can't make this list.

I would have a difficult time picking a carol I do not like.

I’ve always hated “Little Drummer Boy” and “12 Days Of Christmas”.

Conversely, I have a newfound appreciation for “Happy Holidays” song. Ever since certain groups started pretending to be persecuted by a supposed war on Christmas, and claiming that they’re no longer allowed to say Merry Christmas. It makes me chuckle.
