Not to be the negative Nellie, but I've still got to see Falzon turn some sort of corner. I posted in the middle of the season that while I would love to see him become the guy we all felt we were getting when he committed, my untrained eyes still are just not seeing what most people seem to see in him. While it's probably more an indictment of my powers of observation than anything else, I just haven't seen anything leading me to believe we can expect him to be much more than the seventh or eighth guy in the rotation, assuming the incoming class is as good as it's cracked up to be. I'm ready and willing to chalk a fair amount of this up to his being less than 100% due to injuries, but next year that ought to be pretty much off the table. Seems to me that if Falzon IS, in fact, what many of us are saying he is, there's no reason we shouldn't expect a double-digit scoring average, along with probably 5-6 rebounds per game. That's not unreasonable, it's not off-the-charts-type production . . . it's just decent, solid production; something we should be able to expect from a 6'8" fourth-year junior who was a 4* recruit. If he isn't producing something at or near that level next season, all this talk about him being such a key piece is going to start sounding a bit off key. No one will be happier than I if he busts out next season, but it's fair to say we've reached the point where it needs to start tangibly happening -- if it's going to.
