Played some great overall defense as well. Might be the best infield in college ball. Outfield is also very good. Just an outstanding effort. Exciting times for UK baseball.
Better bring in more seating!

Except this time it’s in Lexington. Oregon State or UC Irvine next weekend.
We need Omaha. I was at KPP tonight, and it was rocking (the Ump was the reincarnation of Angel Hernandez). Other than nearly getting ejected from the park, and the nightmare that was getting out after the game, it was great. First time at KPP, won't be the last. I'm gonna try to make at least one SUP if I can.

Pray, do tell . . . .
So much about nothing; it was so dumb. The person who was supposed to give out wristbands to OF bleachers ticket holders did not do her job, and tried to stop me in the bottom of the FIFTH INNING. There was a short argument, wherein some hulking security dude intervenes. Basically threatens to eject me if I do not comply (I already had provided my ticket), eventually, I get my wristband and move on. Just workers going on a powertrip for no reason.

Stop you from what in the 5th? Thought you were sneaking into the bleachers?

Saw that the OrSt game was suspended last night, they have a 6-4 lead over UC Irvine and will finish that game at 6pm tonight. If UCI wins, there will be another game one hour after the first which means we may not know who we play until midnight.

I get that the regionals are held on campuses- don't know ahead where they will be, better attendance.

BUT, in the interest of fairness, I'd like SR's to be at neutral sites in the future. You could play at 4 sites - one in each region, two super regionals at each - at a minor league park a year+ ahead of time, like NCAA hoops. The minor league team could schedule away for that weekend. Need 10k+ stadiums. JMO.

Yeah, it was rain. You’re right, ESPN has it listed at 6pm but I guess that’s for the 2nd game if necessary, first game resumes at 3:06 like you said.

I love the current set-up. Give the higher seeded teams the home field advantage. Just like FCS football.

I imagine if FB goes to a 16 team playoff, 1st round will be at home field of higher rated team. So baseball will basically have the same going from 16 to 8.

Strong disagree. Our atmosphere at home next weekend is going to be off the charts, and it's a good reward for a great season.

I was entering the OF Bleacher that I had a ticket to. I came in the second inning, and no one asked to see my ticket. I left in the B5, and came back in the same inning.

Crazy that in the 5th inning!

How was it watching from the bleachers and could those bleachers become permanent?

I miss that old right field pavilion. Any chance of something like that coming back?
