Lol...haters gonna hate. Some bad calls on offense, some on defense. Kirby Smart did the same.
Cats were out talented tonight, but hung tough. Had chances, but made errors. Receivers....guess they have to be circus catches.
Lotta effort, but I do agree with Stoops on the kids have to play sharper...they don't have that five star talent edge to make up for errors.
Hey, overall if you had told me after the Florida game this tea would play Georgia to a last second loss I would have laughed myself silly.
Georgia ain't what they used to be, but these Cats aren't either.
Congrats to the Dawgs. Now they get to go home and heal up some Cat scratches.
We get to see if these kids can squeeze a big Orange next.
Lookin forward to it.

While I'm not happy to lose the game tonight, I am glad that we are finally competitive in games like these. We are winning the games we're supposed to and playing competitive football against the others.

I'm pumped up about the future of this team. Georgia is no world beater but they're no slouch either. UK gets better every week. No room to regress. We need to show this team our support. No need in calling out individuals. They played their heart out.

I am not addressing anyone in particular. But UK lost. Losing a game does nothing to help this team. Being competitive in this game is not good enough. Also, doesn't help you in the next game.
I have literally heard these things for 30 plus years. The only way it changes is by winning these types of games.
The SEC East was there for the taking. How often does that happen for UK? You HAVE to take advantage. Improved? Yes. That's not the point. Winning is the point. Win this game and UK is in uncharted territory. Instead, UK did what UK has done for 40 years, played hard, fought hard, but lost. This loss doesn't mean better things are coming. Never has.

We have too many flaws to win the east , turnovers being the biggest problem . Thin on the dline and somewhat one dimensional on offense with a backup qb that throws bombs well enough but struggles with most of the other throws . You can talk about the competition being down but Georgia still has a lot more talent than UK and I knew they were going to be up for the challenge . We had a mathematical chance but it was a small chance imo .

We're making strides , next year should be even better . We're still going to a bowl and that is going in the right direction . I just can't believe fans want to skip all of the growing pains of rebuilding and go straight to east champs in year four . Stoops inherited one of the top five worst programs in college and we can still finish in second place which is very good .

What has happened is that after a 0-2 start with a horrible first game loss this team did not fold. They went into Bama and held them to their then lowest total of the season and proceeded to win 5 out of 6 after the second game. They gave UGA, who many expected to be a contender in the east due to their talent, all they could handle last night and were 10 points better than them if not for the Johnson fumble and Badet bobble. Our defense played good enough to win this game even though they were on the field for so long against two future NFL backs and future NFL lineman.

Get off the guys sacks. This team has improved and are going to a bowl game and IMO have a chance against UT next Saturday. The SEC East title was never even plausible at the beginning of the season, but for craps and giggles....if Muschamp gets revenge on his old UF team and then UF loses to LSU then a UT win for us would crown us East champs at 5-3.

Look to the future. Better talent then we have ever witnessed at UK and a team that returns 20 starters next year...TWENTY! Things look better for us whether a bunch of whinie butt fans want to admit it or not. With your group the guys will never accomplish enough:

Make a bowl...should have been a better bowl

Win the East....should have beaten Bama in the championship game

Win the SEC Championship:....well we didn't win our playoff game.

Win the national title going 14-1.....we shouldn't have lost that game during the season to UF.

You people are ridiculous.

I agree 100%. Your comments aren't popular on this board but they're true. I don't like any loss but I understand we won't beat elite teams at this point but Georgia's not good this year and we should have beat them.... and that doesn't mean I'm bashing anyone. Just calling it like I see it.

See it as you wish man. If you want to believe UGA is a good team this year, go for it.
You say they gave UGA a game. That's the mentality I'm talking about. Most analysts picked UK to win the game. They were ahead of UGA in the standings. And you say they gave them a good game. Man, that's been the battle cry of UK football for 40 years or more. Means nothing.
You have me grouped in with some other folks. Your choice. Never expected UK to beat Bama.
You seem glad they almost won. Glad "they gave UGA a game". Do as you wish. UK gave some of Spurrier's UF teams a game too, teams that were much, much better than this Georgia team. Meant nothing going forward.

It's unfortunate we don't have a better option than Johnson at QB. I wonder how much better barker would be doing.

I understand your frustration but this is a young team with a 1st year backup QB. The defense has a lot of new faces this year. It would be hard for any team to win the division under those circumstances.

I would agree that UGA is not as talented as they have been in year's past, but they're still a very good football team. Not good enough to win the SEC East, but still a notch better than UK this year. Not by much, but still better. Beating UGA would have been a great win for our program, but we're still moving in the right direction. Going to any bowl gives this group an extra month of practice and only helps recruiting.

I will be glad if UK gets a bowl game. Helps recruiting and like you said, extra practice.
Please don't forget, Vandy won at Georgia. Let's stop pretending this is a normal UGA team. It's not. UK missed a golden opportunity.

They went into Bama and held them to their then lowest total of the season.

I see this statement all over this board.

Look, I agree with most everything else you said but for the love of God can we as a forum quit using this as bragging rights. It sounds pathetic. The game was a blowout.
