Robb Smith had a nice run with us, but he did get bounced from Arkansas and Minnesota.

His defenses have been exposed Not sure what happened other than he doesnt make adjustments on the fly or worse hecis still running the same packages he was when he was hot commoditiy

If AC goes to BC who is in the mix to take on the DC job??
Don't count out Bob Fraser.
He was Schiano's co-DC/LB coach (2009-20010) then the RU DC in 2011.
Both Bob and Fran might be DCs in name only carrying out the strategies Greg plans his first year back.

By naming Fraser co-DC ,Schiano would be giving Fran Brown time to learn the DC job and mentoring his development to run it on his own ( with Fraser's help) in 2021.

Fran Brown is listed as Secondary coach. Thought he was hired as co-DC?

your right and if Fran isn't listed as co-DC that probably means AC is expected to accept the RU DC position , in my opinion.

Now if Fran was hired as a co-DC, why the demotion ?

TheKnightReport - Temple Co-DC Fran Brown set to join Rutgers Football staff
The Knight Report has confirmed with sources that Rutgers Football head coach Greg Schiano is expected to add Fran Brown as a Co-DC / Defensive Backs coach to his Scarlet Knights staff. Brown is set to make the jump from Temple, where he most recently served as the Co-Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs coach.

Rivals got bad information & posted it....sadly today's media is more concerned with being first rather then being correct, Fran Brown was NEVER being hired as a Co-DC by RU. A Camp was always Schiano's #1 choice for DC

Sounds reasonable and sort of a relief.
I was worried how Brown would take being dropped as co-DC and if he was going to explore opportunities at other programs.

Seen a thread about Fran tweeting on his being happy to be at Rutgers, so my worry
is ended.
