I think being burned alive would be the worst. I watched the video those sick **** ISIS bastards posted last year when they burned that guy alive in a cage; that dude suffered incredible agony.

I just think, pain wise, that would be the worst way to go.

My grandfather told a story of what germans did to American prisoners. Apparently many were made to sit on an actual sword. I'm not sure there are many worse ways to go.

IMO.....
Having anything forced up your A-Hole until you die or to be strung up by your GENITALS until you die all the while its being watched in person by all your ex-girlfriends and wives would be the worst !

Just my 2 cents ! :flushed:

Last year, I turned on WLEX news. It was very early on a Saturday morning and one of the lead stories was a fatality accident on Leestown during the night. Someone wasn't paying attention to the video footage because they showed the body, still in the seat, in the wreckage. Someone had draped a visibility vest over the head, but they filmed the face as well as a gruesome leg injury. I've thought of that often and would hate to go like that.

Burned alive. No doubt about it with being stabbed to death a close second.

Being stabbed 37 times and made into dinner would be an awful way to go:

Katherine Knight lived a seemingly ordinary life until the day she stabbed John Price 37 times and mutilated him in their home in Aberdeen, in New South Wales’s Hunter Valley, 16 years ago.....

Price’s headless body was found by police in the home the couple shared on 1 March 2000, a day after he was murdered. His skin was hanging from a butcher’s hook in the lounge room, his head was cooking in a stew on the stove, and slices of his buttocks had been cooked and served alongside vegetables and gravy in a meal intended for his adult children.

Bloodstains showed Price had tried to escape the house, and had even been briefly successful, but was dragged back inside by Knight, who had a borderline personality disorder.

Just adds to the drama when one wakes up in that coffin and flicks the cigarette lighter. Saw it in a movie.

"Final Escape" was originally broadcast on 21/Feb/1964 as part of the second season of The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.

Synopsis
Convicted bank robber John Perry is sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in a state prison lumber camp. Determined to get out, he befriends an alcoholic inmate named Doc. Doc is in charge of the prison infirmary as well as burial of the dead. Doc makes an offer to John: if John will finance an operation for Doc's granddaughter, he will get him out of prison. Doc's plan is to hide John inside the coffin of the next inmate who dies. The coffin will then be buried and dug up after the gravediggers and guards leave. John will then make his escape. All goes according to plan, until Doc fails to dig John up. John is horrified to learn why after the shroud slips off the face of the corpse sharing the coffin with him: Doc died of a heart attack the night before. (TV.com)

Hisashi Ouchi (ouchi lol!) has to be up there (warning: do not google image)

Hisashi Ouchi was one of the technicians working at a facility operated by JCO (formerly Japanese Nuclear Fuel Conversion Co.) in Tokai of Ibaraki Perfecture. He is one of the two fatalities of Tokaimura nuclear accident that exposed him to, perhaps, the highest amount of radiation any human had exposed so far. The ethical value of his prolonged treatment and efforts to keep him alive, that lasted for almost three months despite his wishes and the pain he had to endure, was questioned and the efforts received criticism.

Junko Furuta had a pretty ****** go at it too:

Furuta was held captive in the Minato residence for forty days, where she was abused, raped and tortured. They also invited and encouraged their other friends from Yakuza, to torment Furuta. According to their trial statements, the four of them:[2][3][4]
  • Edited: Most people probably don't want to read the details of what happened to her. It's on wiki...

Well, Mossip, you are right.

After reading articles about Junko Furuta, I thought about her all day.

Had trouble sleeping last night.

I can't imagine a human doing these things. Obviously at least one of them is a psychopath.

That's worse -- by far -- than any of those Charles Bronson or Hell's Angels films.

I don't know what would be fitting punishment for those freaks.

Read up on Jesse Washington.

He was a black 17-year old who allegedly murdered a white woman in Waco, TX in 1916. The evidence pointed to him committing the murder, and he admitted doing it (although some think this was coerced). He was arrested and found guilty of murder - then sentenced to death.

The moment the conviction came down, vigilante justice took over. The crowd pulled him out of the courthouse, cut off his balls, and fingers, broke his legs, and then chained him up over a fire. They basically cooked him alive for two hours. Witnesses said he tried to climb up the chain to avoid the heat, but struggled cause he had no fingers. An estimated 15,000 people watched this take place in the town center, and the crowd took pieces of him to sell as souvenirs. Pictures of him burning were used as postcards.

So two things:
  1. While many of you said burning is the worst way to go, getting set on fire would be a gd breeze compared to being roasted for two hours.
  2. The 15K people watching this were sick bastards

Wayne, that's a revolting story.

But I can't imagine anything topping Mossip's story of Junko Furuta.

I'm a peaceful person, but I would consider going all vigilante on these guys. They're still alive -- apparently with no remorse.

This is a real uplifting, cheery thread. I think most deaths are horrible. Especially those that are drawn out.

Stick in a chamber without food for 7 days. (Give them enough water to survive) after the 7th day slowly cut them inch by inch with a knife on every single square inch of the body. Make them, then take a bath in alcohol. After that stick a funnel tube up their *** and put hungry rats through the tube. While the rats eat their way through slowly burn them with a lighter especially over their cuts. After you burn them make sure to get the rats out of the body before the person dies. Make them roll in feces and have their wounds get infected as it slowly kills them.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandmother, not yelling and screaming like the people in the car she was driving.

Ha I flashed back to that reading this thread also. Was that said on a radio station back in the day? I’m sure it’s pretty common.

"Harakiri. Also known as disemboweling yourself. Seppuku was honorable, ritual suicide typically practiced by samurai. Not only does it require enormous balls of steel, but also a steady, skilled hand, as the samurai plunged the sword into his own stomach, then made a deep, horizontal cut. Traditionally, a second swordsman was present to decapitate the samurai, preventing prolonged suffering.

In 1970, famous Japanese author Yukio Mishima tried to instigate a military coup. When he failed, he committed seppuku, but one of his followers, Morita, failed to decapitate him after four tries. Which is really awful. So another dude had to step in and finish the job. Ashamed of his failure, Morita too committed seppuku."

I think the guy in Florida that the sink hole swallowed up while he was in his bed, would have to rank up there. His body was never recovered from what I read.

Another would be the dozer operator that was working around a silt pond and when to far and just sunk up. I don't know if he was ever recovered, think it happened in WV, can't remember for sure.

Wood chipper, friction, lava....just off the top of my head.
When I was a correctional officer there was an old man who went by chipper, I always thought it was because he was always happy. Turns out he caught his wife cheating and put her in a wood chipper. Not sure if it was the truth or not, since he was a Vermont inmate I couldn't check.

One of my best friends was a Fort Thomas fireman when Beverly Hills supper club caught on fire. He was up on the aerial ladder shooting water down in there and said he could see people crawling on their hands and knees ,blinded by the smoke trying to find a way out. That had to be frigging horrible

I would think the worst way to go would be to watch someone die a slow painful death knowing the same was going to happen to you next.

The people jumping out of the twin towers.

A german zoo had an elephant that was constipated. The zoo vet tried the gentle method first, feeding the pachyderm lots of fruit, water, etc. Zoo closed and still no go for the elephant, so he tended the tusker through the night. Desperate for a solution the vet got an enema and a ladder...a fast acting enema. Instant. Elephant cuts loose. poo knocks the vet off the ladder, and his head hits the floor, knocking him out. Elephant continues pooing. They find the vet the next day, smothered to death by the poo.

Had an extremely vivid dream of dying in a fire as a child. It still gives me chills to think of dying that way.

Brother worked for the railroad. Talked about how some worker got caught in the train car couplings. So he was alive but knew he would die when they released the couplings.

My daddy worked in the Pike County coal mines after graduating from high school. He saw one of his buddies go through a coal cutting machine and come out in little bloody chunks. He never forgot that and soon left the mines and went to college with the money he had been saving.
