That, I believe is the real key to this opening game. We should be able to run through the USM defense, especially later in the game. Our passing game should be decent too. And if we secure the ball, we win. But if we mishandle punt returns, or lose the ball just trying to reach out for one more yard, or simply get sloppy and put their O on a short field a few times, this game could get ugly. I would be emphasizing ball security to the backs and receivers. I don't even think we have to create turnovers to win this game as long as we don't turn it over.

Most coaches before a game will probably not bring up drops or fumbles, they are funny that way. lol

I think ball security is important to every team every game. Pisses coaches off, especially when they lose a fumble.

I have heard coach after coach say "whoever wins the turnover war wins the game." Its not 100% but it sure does help.
