i posted over there in one of the Meeks threads where all their posters were trashing him. I said, "Is this the same sophomore Meeks that was better than a freshmen Okafor?" Archer responds, "classy post". I proceeded with another post saying I couldn't help it and that I didn't understand Meeks starting over Hicks. I go back and I'm banned. They come over here and are obnoxious a-holes. I guess they're having a hard time dealing with the pressure.

I have a suggestion. Why don't all DI posters who have not been banned from THR just go over and make a post. It doesn't need to be complicated or long. Something like " I love Coach K or I think J.J. Redick was one of the greatest shooters ever in the ACC." That will probably do it. You will get banned and before to long none of us can post there because we all will have our own little tombstones and that will be ok. Believe me.OFC
I got banned like everyone else. It doesn't take much to hurt feelings over there

I got banned over at THR for simply disagreeing after several THR posters were trashing Coach K for giving Mason Plumlee a huge bear hug after Mason Plumlee made a huge dunk his senior year
They'll be no need for trolling when it happens. Their agony will be apparent in real life. For Duke fans, the sun will be shining brighter and the air fresher.

It's pretty comical, I make the statement and then immediately let them know I'm kidding. I then compliment them and tell them they have a great team, come back 5 minutes later and I'm banned. They cuss and call us all kinds of school boy names, I guess that just makes them feel better. I hope they get ousted this next round and the NCAA hammers them!
Sky, I already got banned for posting in one of their threads asking who was the best long range shooter in the history of the acc. I said JJ of course and got called a Duke homer and was promptly banned.

As Dukesince90 says it would nice to see "the rules" if they exist so if they do maybe Dukiejay can post. I suspect many have been banned on both sites for comments that don't meet the rules threshold. Short fuse trying to please the fan base. On an equal note, I wish we could all be a little more respectful of each other as persons and respectful of the athletes as well. We should all be able to make comments dealing with teams, players, and even that we disagree with the poster we are commenting on. Sort of like if that person was sitting next to us would we make the same comment? I doubt it in most cases where the ban occurs. That's the problem with the internet and forums specifically. We don't know each other and I submit that if we did get to know each other we would find much more in common then not. Discussing each others teams would be enlightening in many cases and fun if you are a basketball junkie like most of us are. I think the moderators do an excellent job in the overwhelming number of confrontations, especially when some pretty dumb things are said in the heat of passion (think a little alcohol is involved sometimes??) It does seem that too many banned folks have some interesting and helpful comments to make if we could overlook a borderline transgression. The mods do a tremendous job and we should all be thankful they take the time to help.

The replies would go something like this "go back home dookie, get lost you pos troll, another rat face lover offering their insight " and before too long that cute little tombstone would pop up. What strikes me is some of the posters that used to be reasonable posters here and have just gone off the deep end. Cory is still okay most of the time, but someone like Archer has just gone nuts.

All I said was they are a bunch of Cheating bastards who have acted like their s#]t doesn't stink when in all actuality their institution is hands down the dirtiest in our conference, with the AFAM , cars, guns , drugs, mouthpieces and more. Also the fact that STEAT was an idiot, GSD was crazy, their Mods are absolute babies and their coach couldn't carry Coach K's jock. Then they banned me, insensitive pussies.
