Sadly not a win win as this is KY basketball. This administration has taken this fan base fo gran big time its now time for us to send them a real damn message an not show up for any home games the remainder of the year
He isnt getting run out of town. He gets a season 3 to take us to new lows.
It's never a win when we lose. I want to win every game. I hope Pope never looses again.
Im not sure of that. Lots of people unhappy that matter, and their money matters. This is reaching Gillispie level problems, without the abuse.

Given the circumstances, for the first time, I don’t really think I want him to win. I only say that due to seeing down the road and what I believe is happening to the program. The administration would love to lower these standards and make us accept and like a big win here and there so they can ride and maintain this. They’re hoping for it. Unfortunately, that would be devastating to Uk’s dominance.
It’s a weird spot to be in, but I don’t want to be in this spot. The worse it gets the better the chances are we save the next generation of UK basketball. The more losses and embarrassing losses he gets, the more impossible it is for Mitch to get his opportunity to say “we need to run it back”. Mark is the yes man who was given a job he’s not qualified for, and there’s a reason for it. I don’t believe our administration wants these players to get the money and take it away from what Mitch wants. That’s why he forced through this JMI deal to force the money to remain where he wants it. Do the math, he needs to be forced. The only way for that is to lose big and get Mitch out of that seat. This guy is anti-UK. He’s not here to win. All my opinion………………………..
Mark was the perfect fit for Mitch. “Let’s run the 90’s back and get Pitino back”. Except it’s not Pitino and this isn’t the 90’s. I believe Mark gave an opportunity to put a guy in there that can be controlled and keep guys like Calipari out of here who can’t. We need this to end quickly.
He has injuries that he can lean on as a crutch this year. Injuries suck but I doubt many of those players return to UK next year. We might return, Chandler, Noah, Jelly and Moreno. Whole new squad again next year. Garrison might want to return but that should be a hard pass.
No way Jelly returns he'll go to a school like Illinois and tear it up. I agree with you on Chandler,Noah,and Moreno though. Just those three and no recruits for next year is pretty terrifying. I have absolutely no faith in Pope in the transfer portal.
I hope Jelavic transfers so I don’t have to hear people refer to a UK player as Jelly. Especially bad considering he isn’t very good.

I have faith in Pope with the transfer portal, year one he got some good players in like 1.5 months. I have no faith in his high school recruiting, none whatsoever. If he survives this year & i believe he will barely, he will recruit skilled players in the portal that can shoot, now, that may look just like his first year, guys that can shoot & score but can't play defense. He obviously needs a DC which is sad considering he played for Pitino. I wanna win & don't want those bums in tornado alley to pass us in all time wins.
