Sorry to learn of the passing this week of Coach Carmody's wife, Barbara. I believe her battle with cancer was one of the main reasons he retired. Condolences to Coach and the family.

Sad news indeed. My wife grew up in Cranford N.J. with the Carmody clan, known locally as the "baker's dozen"(13 kids). The family later moved to affluent Spring Lake in Monmouth County near the Jersey shore
