Texas and West Virginia are members of the same conference, thus there's an interest....... there was no photo of an outhouse burning down posted here when Kentucky fired Joe B. Hall or Tubby Smith.
So as has already been ask, just why are you Kentucky fans still hanging around doing your little chest-thumping thingy?
Seeing Joe B. Hall's name reminded me of news reports I heard back when I was a kid. This is a true story. Leading up to the Kentucky-Duke National championship game (1978, I think it was).... there were news reports that - unless Kentucky beat Duke for the title - Joe B. Hall may get fired.
My question was... what school threatens to fire a coach for only finishing runner-up in the country? I know UK takes basketball serious... but that is sort of nuts.
