It's becoming apparent. I'm not certain about this, but I would imagine that an 8-win team that goes to a mid level bowl game probably generates more money for the university than a National Championship basketball team does. Not saying that I don't love it when we're chasing down basketball championships, there's just not nearly the money in basketball as football. Hey but what do I know? that has happened twice in 30 years. hope they spread those winnings over that time smartly. but hey...its not my budget. i'm sure at some point they will get back to 8 wins and the investment will be worth it....right....
