I may be wrong but somewhere i heard that we should know something by the 15th but i cant remember where i heard it from

Between now and the 15th, was when we found out about Green, so the ncaa is keeping a regular schedule if we find out between now and the 15th. We found out sometime between the 9-12th of may if my memory serves me well.

Why are people still thinking Barnstable is coming back? Didn't the new rule state it would not effect players from this year.

It didn't mention if Division 2 basketball counted as a year since JUCO doesn't. I think that is the angle.

So did juco, until it didn't.
That case focused on the fact that JUCOs don't fall under NCAA jurisdiction so thus should not count against NCAA eligibility, especially when doing so could negatively impact their potential NIL earnings. I believe the ruling said this limitation violated antitrust somehow. D2 and D3 are governed under the NCAA and they would count towards their NCAA eligibility clock. Presumably NAIA would fall in the same category as JUCO since it's a different entity. Since NAIA schools are 4 year schools, then you could have a player play 8 years based on that ruling if it applies to NAIA the same way. The 5 year eligibility clock the NCAA is proposing would end this stupid charade.

You were guaranteed a free t-shirt from that intramural lady if you had three decent athletes on your team lol
I have so many of those damn shirts. My last year of UG they did shorts and I think I ended up with 7 pairs. They were terrible shorts too :ROFLMAO:

I don't know who was there in your day, but the person who ran Rec Sports when I was an UG left and went on to become the GM for a women's pro softball team.
