It's every once in a while. The Thursday nighter hasn't happened for a few years. Don't understand the lack of consistency

It is based upon the timing of Yom Kippur. Last year there were no Thursday games, but there were the prior few seasons.

Depends on when the two major Jewish holidays fall. This year one was on Wednesday night/ Thursday afternoon. The other one starts tonight at sundown until tomorrow.
