Yep mid 3 star... Barely rated above that Justin Jefferson kid Joseph recruited at LSU... Joseph needs to go... Clearly a poor evaluator of wide receivers...
That is absolutely true, however, to be fair Jeffersons older brothers played and started at LSU...he was lowly rated because he was a huge qualifying risk out of high school and small
That said, Mickey did take him from and undersized (175 lb) WR to a star

Did Jefferson go to a louisiana HS? The public school system in that state is legendary for how bad they are.

Yeah! I'm sure he is a nice kid, but this recruiting class is shaping up to be crap... Once again...The new commit brought it below 50 percent Nebraska high-schoolers, so kudos! Learn the hard way I guess...Mickey, the next head coach or whatever you want to call him- better prove himself this year, or he will be finding another job like his head coach will. Prove the hype. Pretty simple.
Your disdain for Frost has been noted each and every time you post. I was gonna say find some new material, but now you’ve lumped in Joseph. So kudos to you on the new material, I guess.
Don’t be mad bro….look at the last 7 or 8 4* WR. They all pan out just like mid 3*. Last week OSU landed a mid 4* and two 5*. I’m guessing there’s won’t pan out either

Jefferson was WR2 in HS and kind of took back seat to Michael Young .
Michael Young signed with ND and was higher rated then Jefferson out of HS. But Mickey didn’t offer Young, he offered lower rated Jefferson.
Obviously Barry took the back seat too Bonner last year who was a 4 star on every major site.
Cedar grove is a stacked school playing in the lower tier GA HS. Barry is a fast dude with less than ideal height. The concern going into college isn’t lack of athleticism. But the writings of him being overlooked are there. Sometimes It’s harder to get noticed playing at a school stacked full of talent. See Lavonte David out of HS
It’s only July. If Barry was some plan D guy, I don’t think NU would have tried to get him to visit so early nor take a commit from him. Mikey likes this kid and obviously wants to establish some sort of pipeline in Ellenwood GA.
The other thing about Mickey is if you ain’t producing or improving, he will run your *** out of Lincoln. It’s controversial topic on this board but Mickey doesn’t mess around. He won’t carry dead weight. It’s why I don’t worry about his recruiting at all
