Bartlett?

Can't find much on them except they've won the last few games and appear to be a balanced team. Any Bartlett fans on here?

Not a Bartlett fan but saw them play a couple times. Improved with each game. Developed a nice power running game. Pretty physical on defense. Will always have a few gadget plays during a game on both special teams and offense.

Thanks. That's what a gathered from the few articles I found. With Rice's track record in the playoffs under Badke, I'm expecting a tight game.

Szcar - what exactly is BR's track record under Badke in the playoffs? They lost at Gately to eventual state champ MC in 2012 and lost at defending state champ Naperville Central last year - albeit had a half time lead.

Not exactly a big sample size and Bartlett certainly is neither of those squads. Will be nice to have first IHSA home game since 2011.

Maybe BR freshmen can play Bartlett freshmen on the undercard?

It's pretty common knowledge across the Great Lakes region. Was in Manitowoc not long ago and heard a kid telling the legend of the Bartlett freshmen wunderkinds. Had the heights wrong but nonetheless he nailed the lore.

It is Edgytim legend around here to talk about the Bartlett freshmen. In the mid 2000's a poster claimed that Bartlett had an amazing freshmen team. He was actually correct because four years later they made it to the 8A semis. They were a pretty darn good football team!
