Players appear to lack some of the basics (don't overpursue, arm tackling, positioning, reading the filed), and coaching strategy adjustments are some of the worst we've seen since the Ron Cooper / CSK era's (oh, so painful).
No spin can rationalize this. Bobby P has one more year to make good. (if Tom J doesn't bolt due to other 'distractions' going on).
Hang on fanbase, this will be pretty tough going.

K-rag and Coop? Seriously?

Bobby P. has plenty of rope. Plenty. His two-year record should be in the vicinity of 17-8 before the postseason comes around, our first two years in the ACC. So far this year, he's played the 2nd toughest schedule IN THE COUNTRY.

Your frame of reference needs a little recalibration. Maybe you've been too far north for too long.

You started with a reasonable assessment and then descended further and further into troll territory. But to address your one rational thought - the tackling has been atrocious, it looks like guys are trying to strip the ball instead of wrapping up and then ripping. Overpursuit hasn't been the issue, it has largely been underpursuit (ie taking really bad angles and giving up contain).
