They definitely play hard!!Aside from losing, they don’t look bad or poorly coached.
Could be a decent year *if* Akok, Battle and that point guard can all somehow play
I don't see Akok being back.Aside from losing, they don’t look bad or poorly coached.

Kerr is the PG you can't remember. I would say that is the difference so far in not being unbeaten. The real games have yet to begin and Big 12 is not going to be a place for inexperienced coaching.Aside from losing, they don’t look bad or poorly coached.

Unless you're a blue blood program then the court system doesn't drag at all.I don't see Akok being back.
And Battle is done for the year. Only way to get him to play is through the court system, and that would drag out for months.

Just don't see that happening.I keep reading, “on the line”, the ncaa folds when threatened with a lawsuit. Hope these internet people are onto something
The only hope is to find a football player who can sub some minutes somewhere.I don't see Akok being back.

Isn't going to happen. When we get Kerr, we are sufficient at guard positions. Not great, but ok. We need 4 solid bigs. We have 1 1/2. Slazinski is average at PF. Sumenick tries hard but he isn't a D1 player. Harris also plays hard and is a depth guy, not a starter. Neveh plays some at SF and shouldn't be playing the minutes he is currently playing. The only hope is to find a football player who can sub some minutes somewhere.
Jump to some more conclusions while you are at it. The only hope for another body or two is from the football team. Bodies that can clog the middle, give up a few fouls and give a few minutes of rest to our bigs. They don't have to be even as good as Sumenick. I blame Huggins, not Eilert.Isn't going to happen. There are no bigs on the football team that can play in today's Big 12 basketball. For those that remember Phil Collins in the early 80's, he was sufficient in the A10 in that era. But he had very little athletic ability. If we found a walk on, he would be a Phil Collins but worse.
If fans can't stomach some bad nights this season, don't watch and quit belly aching on message boards. It is reality this year. I do think we will win some but will finish in the bottom half of the conference. We just don't depth and can't sustain what is needed to be a winner. Give Eilert a break, he didn't cause this issue.
Is that what UNC, Kansas and Cincinnati said as well.Just don't see that happening.
Slazinski is leading scorer on the team. Leads in 3pt shooting percentage at 37%, shooting 80% FT. and 42% FG shooting. He is far better than average.Isn't going to happen. I said as a PF. He is more of a SF and is above average in that position. My point is we only have one true big as Slazinski is not a full time player at PF or C.Slazinski is leading scorer on the team. Leads in 3pt shooting percentage at 37%, shooting 80% FT. and 42% FG shooting. He is far better than average.
