We are getting back cut all night.......we continue playing pressing man-to-man....not making any defensive adjustments. On offense, can't score against the 1-3-1.....again, no adjustments.
Three point game.........under 8 minutes......just 3 minutes ago up 15 points.......just saying, team sucks........
Allowed them to shoot 70% in 2nd half........we shot under 40%..........under 20% from three........and looked like crap against the 1-3-1........I hope the teams in the Big 12 don't have the talent level that Marist (0-4) does.........[eyeroll]
Huggs.......love him......but he's got to notice a few of the guys he puts in just aren't capable of playing at this level. Bender and Routt.........Harris struggles.........Lamont West looks lost.......Dax is a mind trip right now.........Bolden cannot defend me............Harler cannot defend my grandma (she's dead).....Jevon is playing too much like a true PG and should force it sometimes.......
Bright spots.......Konate is looking like he's about to erupt in to a superstar.

Bolden......West.......Harler........all were considered "shooters". What we don't have is POST players. Konate is it.........
your analysis is pretty much correct...as a former coach I hate to see bad defense, and right now our defense isn't very good......we really miss Nate Adrian. I saw UVA in person last week. If we don't make some improvements on "D" and shoot better UVA will clean our clocks...I'm the biggest Mountaineer fan that there is and it hurts to say that but we need to get better....UCF St Johns and Missou are better than Marist

I guess my problem is we need to win some key games in non-conference part of the schedule, and not lose to some nobody if we want to get in the NCAA tourney in March.
We really need Ahmad back. But he will also miss a few conference games. He won't be eligible to return until the start of the 2nd semester, correct? That could be OK State, K-State, and Oklahoma.
Ahmad and Culver would have made a BIG difference in this team. I just don’t understand how academics is that big of hurdle for some of these guys
See what I’m saying.....Huggs knows b-ball, we are extremely lucky to have him. We will be up and down, but I bet we’re dancing at the end AGAIN.
We played very good today. UCF was horrible as well. Good combo for us. Konate is looking like a man among boys right now. Dax had better energy. Bolden turned the game in to a blowout with his first half 3's.
Damn glad to have Huggins as our coach. But I'm afraid this team will put a toll on his health.
Ucf is 200 spots better in the RPI than Marist. We are young and inexperienced. We are going to have head scratching games.
Eh.....extension’s signed. He likes pushing kids to play D. Hard nosed by nature, he’ll enjoy it some too
Win or lose if they listen to him and they put in time and effort Huggs will enjoy the team.
