I would hope so, Baylor has some highly rated recruits. You don't or shouldn't smear the majority for the actions of the minority. That is unless you are Mr or Ms PC. and never had an independent thought.

Another site reported there were a handful of guys UK was originally interested in. Not known the player's interest, if they visited UK or if UK visited them or if UK offered. I think all seeking a release are from Texas, probably be difficult to get them out of state.

We recruited one of the OL hard, made his final 2, he is wanting out, if he gets released its now Texas and A&M for him. With those 2, TCU and Houston trying to get into the Big12 expansion picture it will be tough to get any of those Texas kids to leave the state with all the instate options available to them now. If they get released, and Baylor can't recruit effectively until they hire a coach, it will be 2 years in a row they will have down classes, will take awhile to recover from that. Probably won't show up for 3-4 years but will be a steep slide.

I'd definitely be reaching out to any of them that play positions in need for us and gauge any interest they may have.

Stoops has not recruited Texas much. TV Williams is the only Texan I can remember being signed by Stoops. Would be shocked if any of the Baylor kids end up here.

Most of them will probably stay in state if the other Texas schools have scholarships available. I'm sure some will go to other places. It will probably come down to who has available scholarships. Oklahoma also recruits Texas very hard. It looks like the 17 class has already fallen apart.

Stoops recruits primarily in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida. According to the classes rankings, we are doing pretty well. Our 2017 class is ranked 18th in the country, and our committed quarterback is competing in the Elite 11 finals. Since our coaches aren't recruiting Texas, saying we probably won't sign any of Baylor's recruits is just being honest.
