We definitely match up better with Yale than Baylor. It would have been tough to contain Gathers. That guy is just a monster on the boards.

It's unbelievable, they really don't like stats/facts over there. They would rather have kerosey1 (sp), DSouthr and Gary-7 give out 100% truthful facts about Duke, Coach K, and the players.
Coach K worked the refs and swore at them so much in the first game that it actually had residual carry-over to the second game. Just saying.
He doesn't get it. He stated he hasn't said anything to get banned for. The thing he doesn't understand is we get banned for similar things posted at THR. He's clueless and I take him for what he's worth which is not much. Have any of you seen the stuff he puts up over at THR. He should be banned for that but ours mods don't ban for what you post on your own board. Most of us here that have been banned from THR never posted anything on their board. OFC
Yep. THR boys are given a chance to be here despite what they may say at home. We aren't given that same chance, though worst things could happen. Speaks to their insecurity and anger, including the mods. If I was a Tar Heel, I'd be worried about what happens when duke shows up at your house also.

There's a ton of pressure on UNCs team to win it all this season....a ton. It's carried over to the fans at THR and has made them more paranoid than usual. That's saying something.

Most definitely we are....but it's the NCAAT. That's expected. Now, I prefer playing Yale over Baylor, however that doesn't mean I think it will be easier. It's just a better matchup for us.
That is what he meant. I believe he explained further latwr. The dinners are when the players were all together just hanging out. It was a really good sentiment, but I think the emotion of the situation made it come out wrong.
I guess that explains my tombstone for asking for predictions as to next years record.

is it Duke's fault Baylor didnt show up as expected????...Its March Madness and anything can happen....3 wrenches got thrown into the mix yesterday...Witchita State, Yale, and Ark. LR and maybe a few more today.....that's the beauty of it....you play the other team that also WINS their games, there isn't a losers bracket or a redo!!!!!!!!!!
Ingram wasn't even starting at that point he was playing so bad, he played solid vs Yale the first round off the bench but no where near where he's at now.
To me it call comes down to Luke. He doesn't need to be on fire to beat yale but he needs to start playing A LOT better.
