I think the talk of less NIL money would also go bye bye if Pope can lure in some top talent. Be it Stokes, or two or three of the top players in the portal or overseas, I think if he gets the top players here, we aren't going to turn them away because we won't pay them. I think where the money is going to dry up quickly and fall on deaf ears is if he tries to overpay marginal roll players like they are stars
Shelstad, Dedan, and Lowe is quite the collection of injured PG options for 2026.
I’m assuming all Saint Mary’s guys are going to ASU until I have any reason to believe otherwise.

I think we were mentioned and it quickly pivoted to LSU kinda outta nowhere. I think it came out later that he had some family in the area if I remember correctly.
If it wasn't for the injury concerns I would want him.
"Only" - anything over 33 is considered acceptable.
Hopefully this guy enters the portal, Ebuka Okorie's Offseason Decision Will Loom Over Stanford Offseason. Should go all out for Okorie if he enters.

So, looks like the whole "Banner Week" pre-season practice production was just a bunch of "Popeaganda". Banner Week??? ... LMFAO. Bummer Week is more acurate.
Depends on the role. If shooting is your main thing, then no, 33% is not acceptable. If Chandler was shooting 33% from 3, most of BBN would have wanted him on the bench. Oweh shot 35.5 & 33.3 over 2 seasons and most didn't want him shooting 3's. If it's 33% coming from your C or PF, then yeah that's fine. Even from a guy who can get to the rim & finish anytime he wants.
Until they don't make the NBA and have to get a regular job. Gonna be a rude awakening.
He'll only be a sophomore too. Plenty of upside and already skilled.
He is the guy I hope Potter works and aspires to be.
He had 33pts/6a/5rb in his second college game as a 6'9" guard but was wildly inconsistent with bad shooting splits throughout the second half of the season.
