Yeah, but then the next game, they play 10 times better.
It was the same crap last year too. Play a good all around game, then play like crap. That's on the coaches.

The players just got fed up Saturday and played hard and like they were at the Y.
They went back to being coached tonight.
There is absolutely nothing Pope does well at coaching.
He has not only ruined this team, he has ruined these players.
It’s a sad day for Kentucky basketball, we have a 20 million dollar roster and can’t beat a dime store team. Between this last football season and this basketball season this has been one of the worst for programs that were pretty good a short time ago. The football team WILL be better, don’t know when the basketball will under the current staff.
None of it makes any sense to me.

he can't let the inmates run the asylum. Bench these guys, play the scrubs, then after UK loses, throw them under the bus for having zero interest in playing hard every game
That was the hardest half of basketball I’ve had to watch for Kentucky basketball in a long, long time.

On the way home in the jet, based on how this game is going so far. I’m not even sure I’m exaggerating. This is just really not acceptable.
Very meh I thought. Seemed stuck halfway between taking itself seriously and being a more typical Edgar Wright project that leans into the campy vibe.

My high school basketball team played a much much more advanced offense than whatever we are trying to run . How would you ever expect to get anyone open . Pass wait two to three seconds for defenses to adjust . Pass again . Same . Ok I get it . We are trying to isolate and go one on one . But we don’t have the horses to do that .

if JMI is reason we can’t recruit we need to 1)Fire Barnhart And 2) announce to the world we can’t recruit because of JMI . File suit for fraud in the inducement . Raise so much hell JMI has to take the provisions in the contract destroying our recruiting . Otherwise our publicity Will destroy their company . As long as we simply tell the truth about the contract we won’t have to fear a defamation suit . Truth is a complete defense .

I was. There are issues with these guys that aren’t even basketball related. And Pope either can’t or refuses to do anything about it. We can’t have that. He has to go.

We played pretty weak defense. No pressure on the ball. But most concerning is the offense. It just doesn’t look good.
