Ok so we can kinda agree the team is broken. I think it’s a bunch of square pegs and all the holes are round. But this notion about girlfriend issues and the players not getting along is unfounded. It’s speculation. Losing breeds misery. OO is pouting. He isn’t having the same experience as last year. The lack of shooters on this team is taking away his opportunities. He seems to have checked out a lot of the time. But why should I assume it’s a locker room issue? I thinks all of our problems are on the court. Nobody is buying in.
Calm down. Pope will figure it out. He just over valued this bunch. Give him some time. If next season sucks, then yeah, the heat will get intense.

Yeah, it looks like a square peg/round hole thing, but the reason it looks that way, is because the team has zero cohesiveness. They hate each other.
I would feel differently if I didn't see this team play Purdue like a well oiled machine. That's the thing, we all saw what this team can look like when they are on the same page.
I'm not going to call for Pope's job yet, but this season has been beyond disappointing.

Everyone agrees the product that arrives at a basketball game is not good and we're blaming everyone at UK involved with basketball decision making and in the program.
I swear I'd love to see a practice. Like what in the hell does that even look like. These players are the worst shooters I've ever seen at UK. By worst I don't mean just makes and misses. When we shoot the ball, literally nobody knows where the hell its going. Maybe we clip the rim, maybe it goes off the backboard, hell maybe it misses the rim by a few feet and airballs into the crowd, and finally like 20% of the time it goes in the dern hoop.
I've never seen players miss a shot consistently bad like we do.

I think 95% of fans are on the same page of: Pope looks liken he is not meant for this job, and we really don't have much more runway to give him. I don't know who isn't in that camp. Sure feels like everyone here is mostly on the same page.

We lost by 35 on national TV and we could have lost by 50. With a historically great crowd in Nasvhille waiting to erupt. They were dying to cheer for ANYTHING, everybody in attendance paid God knows what for tickets, and our boys in blue served 'em up a heaping helping of hot garbage. - BYU was better before Pope got there and is now better after he left
- He has proven that he cannot recruit elite high school talent
- Despite having the UK name and the largest NIL budget ($18, $20, $22 million or whatever it was) he missed on every top transfer target and had to settle for backup plans
- Pope is under .500 (14-16) against major conference teams since he arrived at UK
- Since the start of SEC play last year, UK's record is 16-13
If Mark Pope played college basketball at Iowa there is nobody on the planet who would think he should be the UK basketball coach.
