They did the pig pickin' at the rehearsal dinner for my wife's wedding. I had heard that the ownership change was not good for the product.

Love this thread, BTW.

YEAH, It just ain't the same... Used to make sure I went to Moore's every time I went back home... Now, I'd rather have King's or Smithfield's which is depressing cause they are not that good...

My family ask us to bring a couple pounds of Jack Cobb's and Sons cue down to GA every time we visit. They tried it up here and loved it. I remember the first time we took some down there. The first thing they did was empty the quart into a bowl and started squirting ketchup in it. I screamed "WTF ARE YOU DOING?". Perfectly good cue ruined.

Got a kick out of all the bbq banters, so i went to dickey's bbq to order a smoked turkey for xmas. I have never met the owner who was working up front and took my order. Saids he gives all the profits from such orders during the holidays to his employees. He noticed my Duke hat and took me back to his banquet room and showed me all his signed Duke bball stuff. Apparently he donates all the food to the Duke children's cancer banquet every year. Feeds like 700 to 800 people Dickey's is now my favorite
