When asked who will have input on the OC hire, Beamer said it varies from situation to situation and added that QBs gave input to promoting Shula last year.

Really? He took input from a 19-year old with 2 years of college experience?

Why would a coach ever ask the players who they want? That's how we ended up with Beamer.

It's things like this that make me most deeply question Beamer's abilities in this capacity.

Honestly doesn't surprise me.

He sought input from teenagers on who he should hire for OC of a P4 program.
He retained arguably the worst OL coach in all of coach football.
He gave arguably the worst OL coach in all of football a massive salary increase.
He hired the OC that our teenage QB wanted.

It's his decision-making that worries me.
