Yeah, we caught lightning in a bottle down the stretch last year, but for the most part, he’s generally looked outmatched as a head coach here.

He looks clueless and helpless tonight.

Mr knee jerk! Put down the bottle. Shane is the right coach for us but he needs to make some changes. Sleep it off homeboy.

Not a knee jerk. Save for a couple spurts here and there, he just hasn’t been that good. And, when he he’s not good, he looks totally overwhelmed and outmatched, like in the bowl game. And tonight.

He’s a nice guy and he sure does love it here and all that. I’m not saying we should fire him. At this point, who are we going to get? We just are what we are as a program. As much as I knew better, for as long as I’ve been around, I took that rat poison this off-season. I really brought into some of the hype about how good we would be. Goodness I should know better at this point.

In games like tonight, he just gets this completely clueless and helpless look on his face. I never see that look on Kirby, no matter how the game is going for UGA.

Read your post over the last two years. 100% knee jerk. I wouldn't want you near my team or company. We would have a new coach every other week if you were in charge. He needs to be nudged to make some changes. Serenity now!

That is why you’re a loser
I will take an overweight coach that wins over a poor cheerleader that loves
Somebodys a little sensitive when it comes to light joking about coaches' weights. 😂. Also only pathetic losers show up on a fellow team's messageboard just to troll them because they're bitter their own team lost today.

He's not smart. He has no killer instinct. He's a position coach. Nothing more. He'd rather be thought of as a nice guy than championship coach. We're in purgatory for the next 3 years until our AD pulls the trigger.

I just said I’m not saying for him to be fired. I really just don’t think it matters.

He's not a smart guy, and he's not a head coach if he's unwilling to go hire killer coordinators.

As mentioned, read your post on Beamer over the last two years. It's clear (coming from a long time coach) that coaching or managing a team is not in your future.

He’s a good coach, but not very good at hiring the right person. OC and Oline coach need to go. It doesn’t matter how many 4 and 5 star linemen we have if they aren’t coached right.

His biggest issues are our teams are not very disciplined. Sure, all teams get penalties, but we get them at the most unopportune times, along with just some really stupid penalties.

The problem is Shane isn't willing ttomake those tough decisions apparently. There is absolutely zero evidence that we should have retained teasley and mounds of evidence to the contrary. The offensive hiring has just been inexcusably bad

Beamer makes you feel good about the product he's putting together while actually not putting a good product together. Smoke and mirrors is a talent not possessed by all. He has that!

Stewart was ejected in the 2nd half which means he misses the 1st half of the Missouri game. Beamer didn't know that. He didn't know.

Beamer has made questionable hires. I don't know if Shula is the right man for OC. But, as Head Coach at Alabama, he did lead them to finish number 8 in the nation is his 3rd season there. As OC in the NFL, he was named Offensive Coordinator of the Year in 2015. And as QB coach, two of his QBs, including Cam Newton, made it to the Pro Bowl. Is Shula capable ? I think he is.

I know that Lonnie Teasley is not capable as OL coach. He has the distinction of working under Marcus Satterfield prior to coming to South Carolina. I don't believe THAT is anything to brag about. What in the world was Beamer thinking when he made Teasley our OL coach? Our OL is currently ranked tied at 120th out of 134 teams for sacks allowed. That is horrendous. WE are currently tied at 91st for tackles allowed for a loss. That is poor. OL coach is the most important position on the team, imho. If you have a poor offensive line, I don't care how good your quarterback and running backs are. They are at a disadvantage. And that puts your defense at a disadvantage if we can't keep them off the field for a reasonable period of time. After the prior 2 seasons of poor offensive line performances, it's inexcusable that Beamer kept Teasley on. I am not a cheerleader for Shula. But I'm not sure anybody could succeed as OC with that kind of Offensive Line.

Very muschamp like effort last night. Both sides of the ball are charmin soft. Zero o line, vanilla play calling, terrible tackling, then the coup de gras….totally undisciplined and self destruction = losing to vandy at home by 24. Shula should be on a short leash and Teasley should be gone yesterday. Alas, we aren’t a serious program.

Last year we had an elite defense and LS took everyone by surprise. This year we have a good defense but not a lot of depth. Everyone knows about Sellers. Plus, he only has 1 reliable receiver. The rest will be good, but they are too young. The offensive line blocking is still inept.

Fatter coaches seems to be more successful.
Ahem!
