This has absoletely nothing to do with anything regarding this thread.

But Ole Miss rival Mississippi State has an incredible coach in Chris Jans.

Not that this has anything to do with this thread. Just saying.

Mississippi is deep in the Bible Belt but ironically morality and bible concepts are like oil and water for their sports teams

Funny thing. Where did Chris Jans coach last season? How're they doing?

At MSU. I know what you are talking about, the New Mexico State disaster, but that happened under the new guy.

Jans has the fourth-highest career winning percentage (.765) among active Division I coaches.

At the time that I made that post, last season was (for Jans) NMSU.

Were any of the players involved in the NMSU scandals (plural) recruited by Jans?

I dunno. But I can't blame a coach for what happened under any new guy, completely new style, players might be saying "I'm glad Coach Jans is gone, this new guy let's us do anything" and so on.
