turned the game on with 4-5 minutes left. perry was bringing the ball up the court, dude from nc state picked him and took it the other way for a reverse dunk.

Damn Ole Miss is struggling. Good game for Perry but it shows why they are losing to mediocre teams.
That would definitely help, but I guarantee that will be his game high all season. If he takes 11 3’s a game on average they will get beat down more often than not.
I think eventually he will be a solid role player, but his size and athleticism will always hurt him. This game and a couple last year show that he can contribute at this level.
That said he needs to get in a defensive scheme, or become at least an average defender somehow that won’t give up more points than he scores.
I wouldn’t mind him transferring back as a senior if he would take a 15MPG role as a shooter and secondary ball handler off the bench.

Barely 6 foot tall and can’t guard anyone. You think Noah and chandler are defensive liabilities, Perry is them x2. He would be a career 4pts a game type guy here. Good player but not UK caliber, he isn’t better than any guard we currently have.
Yes, but given that he is from the state, he TRULY understands Kentucky basketball and bleeds blue. He would play for the name on the front of the jersey instead of the back. I would rather us play with those kind of guys and lose than the others and win.

Perry is a quitter and quit on UK. For a guy that supposedly loved UK because he was "one of dem KY boyz" he sure took his ball and headed south to MS pretty easily.
Snipers don’t shoot in the 20s percentage wise. Lol
